Dialectical Behavioral Training for Mental Health Professionals
ACFH offers Dialectical Behavioral Training (DBT) for trainers through its clinic site in Hargeisa, Somaliland. This training is meant for mental health professionals who who wish to participate as therapists in future ACFH clinical trials. This is a research certification. MDMA Assisted Therapy Training for Trainers
ACFH is in the planning stages of offering training for trainers in collaboration with MAPS and other partners in Kenya, Somalia, and South Africa for an Africa-based cohort of mental health providers. This would be the first training in Africa, and would enable graduates to become certified to provide therapy and also train others to provide MDMA assisted therapy. Training would take part in Kigali, Rwanda, and Hargeisa, Somaliland. *Training is provisional for non-Somalia based providers at this point*. Training would occur in 2027 - please reach out if interested in attending or providing funding.

Educational Clinical Training
ACFH is open to enquiries for undergraduate and graduate level internship and research training partnerships with students. Areas of training opportunities are listed below.
